About V.S.Gurukul Technical High School

Considering the needs of the Technical Education of our country and the students of Mumbai Suburbs, the Mumbai Pradesh Arya Vidya Sabha, had established Shree V.S.Gurukul Technical High School in the Year 1960 for imparting technical Education at High School level (Std VIII,IX,X).The Institute has two media of instructions i.e. Gujarati and English. Being a Technical High School, students who passed VII Standard examination from any Government recognized school and having good marks in English, Maths and Science Subjects are eligible admission to std. VIII.  Admitted students have to study main subjects like  any other academic school and in addition to this, students study Technical Subjects like 1)Workshop Technology and  2) Engineering Drawing . Both the subjects cover theory and practical. 

Workshop Technology consists of the following Trades:-

1)Carpentry 2) Welding   3) Wiring   4) Plumbing    5) Fitting    6) Computer 7) Auto Technician 8) Rural Technology.

Xth standard students are sent for S.S.C. Examination conducted by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Mumbai. S.S.C. passed out students with Technical subjects are given preference while seeking admission to Diploma Courses in Engineering.

  • We promote human welfare and encourage dedicated service to ones’ fellow – men.
  • It imparts knowledge and endeavors to bring out the potentials of human being for their own growth and for the betterment of the communities in which they live.
  • Our institute endeavors to inspire ideals, hopes and ambitions. It adds to one’s zestful appreciation of the wonders around and within oneself.
  • To sum up our mission is that of a liberal education of an individual’s personal quest for knowledge and self mastery and the desire to play an integral part in the development of the community and country.

Parents Teachers Association (PTA):

Objectives:

  • The main aim of PTA is to promote the welfare of the students at home, in school and in the society
  • To create the better understanding between the parents and teachers to ensure a harmonious relationship.
  • To create the awareness among the parents, to stimulate their interest in the school and the children’s curricular and extra-curricular activities.
